Presbyopia

Presbyopia is a condition that develops in most people from around the age of forty-five.

As we get older the layers of the lens in our eyes harden and thus making focusing on near objects becomes difficult.

Therefore glasses are required for reading and close work.

This is quite natural and nothing to be alarmed about, and is easily resolved with spectacles used solely for reading purposes.
